I've got to drop something off, pick something up, grab a bite to eat and before I know it, it's the afternoon! One of the things I love about voice-work is I never know what will show up in my email or on my voicemail. Today, so far 2 commercials from one of my regular clients, WBRC. Another thing I like about voice-over is they are in Alabama and I'm in Manitoba. Thanks to technology, I'm able to work from home and provide some of the same quality sounds found in a big studio. It's still a challenge to get the read just right, but it is a perk to do it from the comfort of home. Thanks to my wonderful clients who make it possible!

<![CDATA[SheVoice is Blogging]]>Mon, 15 Nov 2010 12:36:43 -0800http://www.shevoiceproductions.com/1/post/2010/11/shevoice-is-blogging.htmlFirst of all thank you for checking out my website. I've worked hard at putting it together and it always seems there is something to change or can be improved upon. Thanks to Brian Richardson, who also helped to make "her" look great! I uploaded all new demos today. I can't tell you how long that took. It is hard choosing an example of what you think people want to hear and in turn hire. That's one thing with the voice artist business. Everyone has their own reason as to why they like what they hear. What do you like? I know it is hard to describe, you just know it when you hear it, right? I guess that is also the beauty of voice- over.
